Background :

Hollister, the youth-focused brand under Abercrombie & Fitch, is stepping beyond apparel by partnering with Target to offer home and dorm decor for the first time. The collaboration, called The Hollister Collection at Target, will go live online, across most Target stores, and at select Hollister locations in the final week of June.

The collection will feature nearly 60 items spanning men’s and women’s apparel alongside bedding. Both companies are targeting the back-to-college shopping market, which generated $88.8 billion last year, with individual participants spending around $1,325 on average, according to the National Retail Federation. Furnishing of dormitories and apartments alone accounted for $12.8 billion in spending in 2025, putting it second only to electronics within the back-to-college category.

Hollister, aimed at customers between ages 13 and 22, seeks to expand beyond just apparel into a complete lifestyle brand. Target’s partnership gives it access to a bigger retail footprint and a wider customer base

Target, which has a strong existing home and dorm department, has long used brand collaborations as a competitive edge. The collaboration comes after earlier collaborations with celebrities like Champion and Kendra Scott.

Corey Robinson, Chief Product Officer overseeing both Abercrombie and Hollister brands, said Target’s physical store presence would help introduce Hollister to shoppers who are not currently buying from the brand.

Under the deal, both brands will collaborate on product design while Target manages manufacturing. The collaboration is expected to run at least through next year, with seasonal collections planned across autumn, the holiday period, and spring 2027.
