Background-
Amagi has signed a partnership with Sistemas de Video Comunicación S.A. (SVC), giving media companies in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia direct access to its cloud-based technology.
Broadcasters, content providers and distributors in the four markets can now turn to Amagi for cloud modernization, content distribution, streaming and monetization tools. SVC will back those services with its regional footprint, market knowledge and on-the-ground technical support.
Ronaldo Dias, director of sales at Amagi Latin America, said the company chooses its regional partners with care, looking for firms that know their markets as well as Amagi knows its technology. He said SVC provides the local reach and support customers need to streamline operations, unify distribution and increase reach, engagement and revenue.
SVC chief executive Mariano Simonetta said Amagi offers a rare mix of innovation and flexibility in the region. Combined with SVC’s local expertise, he said, customers receive top-tier technology without giving up nearby support.
Amagi said the agreement reflects its ongoing commitment to Latin America through a larger local presence and strong partnerships. SVC, in turn, adds next-generation technologies to its portfolio as the industry moves toward cloud-based, flexible and efficient operating models.
The two companies unveiled the partnership at The CAPER Show 2026, held October 7 to 9 in Buenos Aires. They used the event to meet customers and partners and discuss the next phase of their technology transformation.
